From 2019, we will be supporting the Interpreter Barcamp with its payment process. This self-organised event has reached its fourth edition: it kicked off in Munich (2016) and then moved north to Karlsruhe (2017) and Regensburg (2018). It is now en route to the far north and will arrive in Hamburg in 2019.
Register now for the fourth Interpreter Barcamp which will take place from 2-3 March 2019 in the Hanseatic City. The event is for working conference interpreters open to sharing ideas, participating actively, and eager to learn something new. German is the official Barcamp language.
You can purchase tickets for the Barcamp online for €50. The ticket price includes an exciting and stimulating weekend with great colleagues in a listed building against a três cool backdrop. We can guarantee you will leave having learnt something new! Oh, yes… now that you mention it, the ticket is also valid for the active participation* during the two-day Barcamp: lunch is included on Saturday, while cold beverages, coffee and tea will be available throughout the entire event.
The Barcamp Team is looking forward to seeing friends both new and old in Hamburg. It will be a weekend to remember! Do send them an email at any time with your questions or feedback, send the team a tweet or a message on Facebook.
See you soon up north!
*No, we didn’t just insert that asterisk* for nothing: the Barcamp relies on everyone’s active participation to work. If you want to know what goes down in Barcamp land (unfortunately, cocktails are not part of the official programme, not just yet at least) take a look at the event’s website. A detailed explanation of the idea behind the event is accompanied by pictures that will give you an overall idea of the previous Barcamp editions.
